- Cook County EECBG Program Support Business Energy Efficiency Investments: Cook County is a direct recipient of $12.6 million in EECBG funding. County activities under this grant are managed by the Bureau's of Environmental Control and Community Development. The County in turn distributes funding to sub-recipient organizations for management of specific projects. The spectrum of EECBG projects includes weatherization, energy efficiency, energy audits, retrofits, and more. The following speakers will describe in detail the plethora of opportunities in the Southland to receive support for energy efficiency projects. Deborah Stone-Director of the Cook County Bureau of Environmental Control; Bob Hudson-Chief Operating Officer of the Delta Institute; Rita Khare-Research Associate for the Illinois Institute of Technology.
